Regular visitors to the site may have noticed the Telegraph reader forums have been largely missing for the past few months.Unfortunately, that has been on purpose, though we have not been happy about it.Basically, we upgraded the forum software back in March, and wereimmediately disappointed with the results. However, the upgrade waspart of some larger changes to the system that runs our Web site, so wehave not been able to switch back.Well, hopefully some good news is on the horizon. Our vendor SaxoTechhas just let us know that they hope to have some fixes in place for usby the end of May. When those fixes happen you should see readercomments once again included within each story on the site, along withsome enhanced features.Forums, like any other type of online community take some time todevelop a following, and we felt like people were just starting to getinterested when we made the switch in March. Two months is a long timeto wait for something like this to get fixed, and we hope your patiencewill be rewarded when we finally get them going again in a few weeks.I will announced the re-launch here when it happens.
