Audio on the Web

Damon | 27 September, 2006 10:54 | (467)

Due to some technical glitches, some people may have missed it yesterday but we launched a new feature on the Web site - an embedded MP3 player.

In the near future you will be seeing more of these audio players embedded into Telegraph stories on the Web - playing inteviews with local newsmakers, songs from local bands, or as with yesterday's offering, statements from court hearings.

As with any 'new' technology, we are still working through a few hurdles getting the Flash-based player to appear correctly across different computers and browsers.

The player you see below (for the tech geeks out there) is displayed using the SWFObject method

Please feel free to leave comments below if you can not see the player or if it causes any problems on playback.

Damon | 05 September, 2006 10:21 | (812)
