Great info/interactive graphicsDamon | 05 August, 2007 14:11 | (339)
Not many newspapers are good at info-graphics in print - meaning charts and maps and other elements that boil a news story down to a glance. When it comes to online interactive graphics - the New York Times.com is on a roll.
Their latest: Paths to the Top of the Home Run Chart is simply brilliant There is so much information in the interactive - age, longevity, production - not to mention the obvious ability to compare between the top 22 home run hitters in the game ever. I am fairly disinterested in Bonds' pending record - but I played with the graphic for ten minutes looking at the patterns in the stats thrown up by the different players.
