I have never in my life seen more intectually enriching and respectful discourse until I found discovered the world of blogging.

I wish I could say that people who are dismissive towards weblogging have been unduly influenced by a few bad apples out there (because there's enough bad blogs out there to more than balance out the reasonable ones).

Unfortunately the reason why people epouse this conventional wisdom is because the mainstream news media, in an effort to preserve the position of their establishment, has been heavily scrutinizing the blogging community, painting them as fringe lunatics who sit in their basement all day and night slamming their keyboards.
