So, what’s it all about?

In case you are not 100% familiar with blogs - I put a short definition on our Blog homepage. But, the ‘real’ definition is even easier: A blog is a tool. Like any tool, it can be used for good, or evil.
Hopefully, we will be using them for good, but based on the first posts over at the Pop Diner, it may be too early to tell. (It’s a joke!)
Pop Diner is a group blog, being written by members of the Features desk at The Telegraph. We will have author photos and bios up soon, but the cast and crew is: Marty Karlon, Sandy Bucknam, Jen O’Callaghan, Deidre Ashe, Holly Beaverstock and Dean Shalhoup. Look for them to provide late-breaking entertainment and pop culture coverage, including updates on their American Idol fantasy team.
The Editor’s Blog is written by Telegraph Editor-in-Chief Nick Pappas. Nick will be addressing issues of editorial coverage at the newspaper, answering reader questions, and generally discussing the concept of transparent media. Check out this site for some other links on the same issue.
Web Notes, (aka still accepting nominations for a better title) is written by (me) Damon Kiesow, Managing Editor, Online. I will be using the space to talk about upcoming changes to NashuaTelegraph.com, answer reader questions, and discuss some of the strategies that are driving our development of the Web site.
So, what is it all about?
A blog is only as good as its readers help it to be. Your comments, critiques, suggestions and support are what create an online community. The same can be said of a newspaper. We depend on your feedback to help direct the daily coverage of the newspaper, and we hope these blogs, in time, will become another vital part of that news conversation.
We are having fun here, and we hope you will as well. And, of course, please let us know what you think.
