Hanson, Iha, Schlesinger, and Carlos join forces as Tinted Windows

Was anyone else excited to hear about this? Taylor Hanson of boyband-of-brothers Hanson, James Iha (formerly of Smashing Pumpkins), Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne, and Cheap Trick’s Bun E. Carlos have come together to create Tinted Windows, a classic power pop band.

War, what is it good for?

The Washington Post reviews Neil Young’s "metal folk protest album," titled "Living with War."
Meanwhile, The Guardian says he is "America’s conscience."
And over at the New York Times, Young lets it all hang out about his feelings on the war in Iraq.
