Jim Gaffigan waxes poetic on Hot Pockets
Filed under Food, General, Pop Culture by teresa santoski at 6:18 pm
My younger siblings recently introduced me to comedian Jim Gaffigan’s Hot Pocket routine. I’ve consumed more than my fair share of Hot Pockets over the years (I could make the argument that it was due to a cramped schedule, but really I just had a thing for broccoli, chicken, and cheese in a flaky pastry shell) and I must concur with Mr. Gaffigan’s conclusion: “You can have a Hot Pocket for breakfast, a Hot Pocket for lunch, and be dead by dinner!” If eaten unwarily, those things can sit like rocks.
I’m not sure what I’m doing for dinner tonight, but Hot Pockets will not be on the menu. “Hot Pockets!”
