Destiney not in Bret’s cards

Filed under Uncategorized by karen lovett at 1:55 pm

Au revoir, Destiney.  You were, apparently, too much groupie, too little true love for Bret Michaels.

But, really, and I can’t believe I’m going to write this sentence, I kind of feel for Destiney.

I mean, she basically told Bret on last night’s episode of Rock of Love that she wasn’t in love with him (though she did tattoo the show’s logo on her neck.) The ladies have been living in the house for what, three weeks?  And Daisy and Ambre loooooovvvvvvve him?  Mmm-hmmm.

I suppose you can’t put a stopwatch on anyone’s love capacity, but c’mon ladies.  Let’s get real.  And even though I was not enamored with Destiney, it does seem like she was ousted for her honesty: not "being in love" and saying so.  The two ladies moving on have both been accused of being dishonest, so in a way, I feel like Destiney was…wronged?  Ambushed? Ambre-bushed?  Something.

Anyway, last night’s episode was all about family.  Bret met with Daisy’s ex-boyfriend’s sister.  He still can’t get over the Daisy/Charles thing, mostly because she drops juicy morself of information like Gretel with the breadcrumbs.  I thought Daisy would throw another bomb during elimination when, asked again if she had others skeletons in her “garage-sized” closet. She instead deftly turned the tables on Destiney’s wavering feelings for Bret.

Meanwhile, Ambre’s dad somehow spilled the beans about Ambre’s real age.  (See JenO’s previous post on this topic.)  I was confused about whether she consciously lied to Bret or not.  He didn’t seem to ruffled by it…hell, everyone’s lying to him, so it’s par for the course.

Previews for the finale show the threesome vacationing in Cancun.  Daisy pukes over the side of the boat; Ambre “turns up the heat” with a massage; Bret chooses his rock.

Prediction time: It’ll be Daisy.  I think that would be the wise choice for us all.  Bret would get his blonde, boobylicious babe, and Ambre would still be available for someone sweet and sensible.

Prediction two: Daisy goes back to Chuck; Heather returns for Bret; and Ambre gets her own show, "Ambre Lake is 31 and single - or was six years ago."

(Thanks for the title suggestion, JenO!)
