A vote against Kristy Lee is a vote against America

Go ahead. I dare you to not to vote for someone who sang "God Bless the USA."

With that being said, I’m going to predict now that Ramiele will be the first Top 10 singer on Idol to go home after a pretty weak "Alone" by Heart. Nothing beats Carrie Underwood’s version a few seasons ago. It’s really hard to envision anyone else going home, even though Simon only liked the performances of David Cook and the aforementioned Kristy Lee. The judges were pretty rough during a week that featured songs from the year contestants were born.

Cook’s alternative performace of "Billie Jean" puts him at the top with Michael Johns who sang a short medley of "We will Rock You/We are the Champions" by Queen. Both rocked.

In the middle of the pack is Jason Castro with a typical guitar performance of "Fragile" by Sting, Syesha’s rendition of "If I were your Woman" by George Michael, Brooke White’s "Every Breath you Take" by The Police (despite the brief oops in the beginning) and yes, Kristy Lee’s "God Bless the USA"

Those who should think about heading home, besides Ramiele, are Carly Smithson who took on Bonnie Tyler’s "Total Eclipse of the Heart." Simon and Randy both said something sounded "off" and I tend to agree. Chikezie’s take on Brenda Russell’s "If Only for One Night" was OK and the women in the audience seemed to love it but he is missing the Wow factor. David A.’s version of "You’re the Voice" by John Farnham (raise your hand if you’ve heard that one–I barely remember it and had to look it up on YouTube to refresh my memory) will hurt him simply because no one knows it.
