New Kids on the Block is (are?) planning a reunion!

*pause*

Did you hear that? That was the sound of all the females in my generation going "Eeeeeee!"

Ah, New Kids. You were my first real manufactured boy band. I only made it to one of your concerts (at which I was two rows from the top of the Carrier Dome and couldn’t see you even with binoculars) but I was still a devoted fan. I have fond memories of my "Step By Step" concert video tape (I think it’s still around somewhere) and my Joey T-shirt with the fake paint splatters on it.

And you know they have to come to Boston, because Boston is where it all began. Hmmm . . .

Anyone up for a roadtrip? I have pom-poms.
