Shop the government for all your holiday gift-giving needs

Wow. The U.S. of A. has its very own online gift shop. Who knew?

All of the major national parks, museums, and government departments have their own online gift stores, all of which are listed here. You can get gold rings made in the Black Hills of South Dakota from the Mount Rushmore online store, a plush globe of Mars from the NASA Space Store (it’s accurate, too!), or a flag that’s been flown over the U.S. Capitol.

And, for the person who’s super-hard to buy for, there’s always uncut currency from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, or you could adopt them a wild horse or burro from the Bureau of Land Management.

Nifty. My Christmas shopping list just got a whole lot more interesting.
