Get up, stand up, come on throw your hands up

I had the great fortune of being a friend’s plus one at another friend’s wedding this weekend.
And I’ve concluded that I need to go to more weddings.
In the first place, it’s just a beautiful thing to see people so in love stand up and pledge to be there for each other through whatever life brings.
In the second place, wedding receptions provide some of the most fun dancing EVER.
For the first hours of the reception, light jazz and big band music filled the air. The happy couple danced their first dance to "It Had to Be You," which, sentimental fool that I am, has been a favorite of mine since "When Harry Met Sally" hit the big screen.
Right after the last elegant dip and twirl, the bride and groom welcomed everyone to the dance floor. The cutting of rugs began and did not end until midnight.
I don’t have a whole lot of rhythm, but I dance enthusiastically. It’s fun to get wiggly, especially when you’re surrounded by others who are getting just as wiggly. Sure, there were cliches played, but that’s part of the fun of weddings. It just isn’t a wedding until the Chicken Dance gets trotted out and everyone spells out "YMCA." There were some nice, unexpected tunes, too, such as "1234" by Feist and "Samson" by Regina Spektor, both favorites of the absolutely radiant bride.
Toward the end of the festivities, only a handful of us were still dancing. Some of my favorite rug-cutting music had already been spun ("Footloose," "I Will Survive," "You Shook Me All Night Long," "Bust a Move," "Baby Got Back," "Cotton-Eyed Joe," "Love Shack"). The DJ turned selections over to the few of us still bouncing.
I was thrilled to have "Jump Around" by House of Pain dedicated to me by a fellow wiggler and we tried to re-create the "Thriller" dance, but came up short of moves. On the ride back to New Hampshire, we thought of other songs we should have requested, like "(You Know You Make me Wanna) Shout!"
What songs - cliched or otherwise - do you get up and dance to at weddings? I mean, the ones you just can’t sit still for, the ones that send you bouncing toward the floor?
