“Any time I see something a 12 year-old Japanese girl would like, I think of you.”

There's nothing like an e-mail from a close friend to brighten up your day, especially when it contains a link to a video clip on YouTube and a "I saw this and thought of you."
After watching said video clip, I must say I am pleased to be associated with such fine cinema. And so many rainbows.
To give you an idea as to the nature of this particular friendship, consider my birthday party during my senior year of college. At such an age, most people's parties contain copious amounts of alcohol and members of the opposite sex. We took our stuffed animals out for Thai food. I have the picture on my desk to prove it.
Thank you, friend, for thinking of me and getting my work day off to the right start. I laughed, I cried, I decided to never click on a link from you at work again. ;) And in the event this whole writing thing doesn't work out and I can't find a job as a backup dancer in the Tibetan music video industry, I am so going to manage a Japanese boy band, if only to ensure that there will always be music videos as glorious as this. :D
