Doughnuts. Is there anything they can’t do?

In honor of The Simpsons movie, Ben & Jerry's is releasing Duff & D'oh-Nuts, chocolate and cream stout ice cream with glazed chocolate doughnuts, at the movie's premiere, which faithful Pop Diner readers know is happening in Vermont.

Beer and ice cream. It has been done before. I know, because out in Portsmouth, I once watched a friend consume the Portsmouth Brewery's Dark Master, which was basically an ice-cream float made with beer.

Ice cream and doughnuts isn't new, either. Anyone remember The Apprentice 2, which had the Trump wannabees of Team Mosaid hawking doughnut ice cream?

But doughnuts and ice cream and beer? I don't know. Is that possibly pushing the levels of gluttony and decadence to new heights?

NO WAY!

The more sinfully good junk foods, the better!

B & J also has "Black & Tan" flavor - the same cream stout with chocolate ice cream. It's a delight.

However, I did have "cerveza" flavored ice cream in Chile, and it tasted like cerveza alright, but since chilean beer...is horrible...the experience wasn't so delicious.

The black and tan is Ok, I really wish I liked it more... but when you take their stout ice cream and VerMonty Python it (add coffee, cookies and cream and little chocolate cows) then you have a winner. I think (hope?) the D&D will be great
