My Celebrity

Who would play you in the movie of your life?

I was introduced to this little time waster a few days ago, and had a lot of fun editing all of my friends out of pictures so I could get the perfect straight-on, full-faced photo of myself to run through the facial recognition site on MyHeritage.com.

The service is free to use after registering, and you can try as many pictures as you like. The site scans your facical structures against a base of 2800 celebrity photos and kicks out your most pertinent matches.

I am 71% identical to Amanda Bynes (Who?) and 66% to Minnie Driver. Lance Bass was also pretty high up there. He's a dude, so I guess I should be insulted, but my eyebrow waxer should probably feel complimented (or chest waxer?).

In my head, I'm more of a Sandra Bullock/Julia Roberts/Gisele kind of girl.

(That last one is slightly more of a stretch.)

I recommend you try it out. It's not always as accurate as you may like (My Mexican friend had a majority return of Asian celebrities) but it'll get you excited for the upcoming man-on-the-street piece fellow intern, Emily Berl and I are doing.

Catch us tomorrow, Wednesday 6/27, on Main Street in Nashua from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. where we'll be chasing you around with a video camera asking, "Who would play you in the movie of your life?"
