Toilet aficionados unite! The finalists have been named - all you have to do is click your favorite and place your vote for America's Best Restroom.

How come the bathroom at Takumi on DW Highway in Nashua didn't make this list? They have the second coolest sink I've ever seen. The first coolest (second picture from the bottom) probably wouldn't be eligible for this contest though, as it was in China.

And what about the bathroom at Dick's Last Resort at the Prudential Center in Boston? The big neon "2P" that informs patrons of the whereabouts of the facilities is the epitome of class. I can see I'm going to have to nominate some restrooms for next year's competition.

Personally, I'd like to see a worst bathroom competition. Some of the ones I've encountered over the years still give me nightmares. There is a certain chain of gas stations in China that deserves a lifetime achievement award.

The bathrooms in Martha's are pretty nice. Tiled walls, mood lighting, full closet-like stalls, and a swanky sink suspended out from the wall by metal vines...I'm gonna try and get my dinner served in there next time.

My only issue with Martha's is the turbo-powered hand dryer. The decor is posh and elegant and you think, "My, what a classy restroom this is." Then you go to dry your hands and you feel like you're smack dab in the middle of Kennedy Space Center. Blast off!

I suspect that you don't *actually* want to see the worst bathrooms. I've seen some bad ones and those were bad enough to swear me off anything worse!

I remember hearing a story from when you lived in Pakistan about bathrooms and roaches. I'm glad you don't live there anymore because after hearing that, the chances of me ever coming to visit you were slim to none. :)

In terms of icky bathrooms we've had the privilege of experiencing together, the ones at the Chinatown food court weren't that great. Were you there with me the night some guy got sick in the hallway leading to the bathroom and that was all you could hear through the whole food court? Good times.

Oh, you must mean the great Roach Bathroom Imigration of 1999! That's when we sprayed poison in strategic places outside; they all climbed up the pipes into our bathrooms where they came to die. For a month or two I had to sweep up a dozen or so roaches eeeeevery day. XD Good times, good times.

I REMEMBER THAT. AHAHAH. And then we were all "...let us find elsewhere to relieve our bodily functions."
