Merry Christmas!

Posted by teresa santoski

You didn't think I'd forget you guys, did you? I just finished Christmas shopping for y'all, and I found all kinds of fun stuff. I know it's a little early, but everyone should get to open one present before Christmas. And this one comes with a no-sock guarantee.
Finally, there's a Christmas album for the rest [...]

Merry Christmas, JenO.

Posted by teresa santoski

It's just a little something I found on YouTube, but I thought you might enjoy it, given your affinity for Snakes On A Plane. This is one gentleman's impersonation of all the different celebrities the casting directors may have seen before settling on Samuel L. Jackson.
His impersonations are excellent, especially his Jack Nicholson. I recognized [...]

Putting words in their mouths

Posted by jennifer o'callaghan

I had the good fortune to stumble across ImageGenerator.net, a neat little site that allows you to add your own text to stock images.
Hours upon hours of hi-larity can ensue.

This [...]

The dude abides

Posted by jennifer o'callaghan

I’m the Dude. So that’s what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you’re not into the whole brevity thing. – The Dude
I love the Coen brothers. I have most of their movies in my DVD collection, but for the last two years, one has [...]

If you have to explain it, is it really that funny?

Posted by jennifer o'callaghan

Have you ever heard someone tell a joke that made everyone laugh but you?
What was so darn funny? You probably wondered, ashamed, embarrassed and depressed to have missed out on a chance to chortle.
I’ve long wondered about the longevity of certain comic strips and, in even more cases, where their humor lies. Is it really [...]

Feelin’ grinchy?

Posted by jennifer o'callaghan

Do the holidays have you tapping into your inner Scrooge?
Does the mere sight of mistletoe make you want to vomit in your own mouth just a little?
Sounds like you’ve got a problem, bub. But luckily, we at the Pop Diner have a solution.
Even the grinchiest Grinch can’t resist the puppies, rainbows, kittens and bear cub [...]

Young at heart, or all grown up?

Posted by teresa santoski

Everybody gets older, but not everyone grows up. Take a look at your Christmas list and your holiday habits to figure out where you stand.
Do you approach the holiday season with practicality and a sense of responsibility? Here are ten indicators that you're officially a grown-up:
1. The top item on your list? Kitchen towels. [...]
