Happy Belated Boss’ Day

Boss' Day was October 16th. What did you give your favorite boss to show your appreciation? No, not the higher-ups at your place of employment. I'm talking about those villains, those scoundrels who make your favorite video game that much more challenging or frustrating. Oh yes. The video game boss.
Bowser of Super Mario fame clocks in at #3 on The Phoenix' 20 Greatest Video Game Bosses of All Time. As one who still has difficulty beating this dude, I find this quite acceptable.
*A huge gust of wind sweeps down from the direction of Boston as the entire staff of The Phoenix breathes a sigh of relief. Because you know they were totally waiting for their list to be approved by some chick from New Hampshire.*
I'll admit, though, that I've never heard of the villain who occupies the number one slot. Like I said, I was still trying to beat Bowser.
My pick for number one would be Titanic Toddler from Zombies Ate My Neighbors. My brother and I would play together, and we'd still get squashed before we could do any real damage. That game also let you kill werewolves with a knife and fork - you know, silverware. Silverware, silver, huh, huh? Get it? Well, I thought it was clever.
Chainsaw Hedgemaze Mayhem was another tricky level - if you weren't careful, you could get totally mobbed by chainsaw-wielding maniacs and cornered in the hedgemaze. It was utter mayhem. If you returned the favor and then some, however, you could come out on top with an Ultimate Destruction Bonus to boot. Good times.
