Why does this work?

Like most people who almost, couldda, wouldda, shouldda minored in philosphy - hey, I was already an English major and couldn’t bear to see my parents waste more money - I really got a kick out of Friedrich Nietzsche.
I also, despite myself, sometimes get a chuckle out of the so-straigh-it’s-a-cliche comic "The Family Circus."
I never wondered what would happen if they ever collided in a parallel existential universe, but thankfully someone did.
The Nietzsche Family Circus is a feature on www.losanjealous.com. It takes a random "Family Circus" panel and a random Nietzsche aphorism and puts them together.
For instance, under a picture of Billy - or is it Jeffy? - walking out the front door holding a pizza box and a baseball bat is this caption: "Is life not a thousand times too short for us to bore ourselves?"
Now, I wonder what would Soren Kierkegaard would say about Charlie Brown’s eternal quest to kick the football?
