“Pigs in Space” vs. “Lost in Space” generation gap

It started out as a quiet Tuesday morning, until our fearless assistant Sunday editor, Sandy Bucknam, revealed it is possible to buy a Lost in Space robot replica, except not really, ’cause the waiting list is currently full.
This led to a brief question-and-answer period. What does the robot do? Why would you want the robot?
It became clear that half of our features crew here today (our sassy lifestyles editor, Deidre Ashe, and moi) haven’t really ever seen Lost in Space, but we’re both quite familiar with Pigs in Space.
To educate us, Sandy sent us this link to help us determine our Lost in Space personalities. Although Deidre and I had many of the same answers, I ended up as Dr. Smith and Deidre was revealed to be the robot.
