The folks behind Wallace & Gromit, Aardman Animations, took some real audio of different people talking about the Iraq war and put it in the mouths of cute little animals and such.

Nick Parks very first short, "Creature Comforts" (1989), used this technique: he recorded ordinary Britons talking about zoos and then gave the voices to claymation zoo animals. For some reason, it's hilarious.
