Water, water, everywhere

Yesterday at The ‘Graph, we had an awesome employee barbecue, wherein the departments all mingled, ate hamburgers and hot dogs and engaged in a bit o’ tomfoolery in the parking lot.

Well, some of us engaged in tomfoolery. Someone set out water pistols, the old-fashioned plastic kind sorta like these:

I can’t resist a water fight, so I was up to no good, running around trying to blast people. However, I was not fortunate in my selection of firearms, and my guns would either backfire in my hand or spit a pathetic stream 2 inches away from my body.

(When you’re in a water fight, you can’t really tell your opponenet, "Move in a bit closer so I can hit you.")

Anyway, now there are some folks on whom I need to seek some H20 revenge, Dirty Harry.

It’s been years since I had a real water fight. Can anyone recommend some good weapons of mass hydration?

In the meantime, I am going to work on my sneer:

Well, my favorite didn't use a gun. A good old cheap balloon filled with water and dropped from a short distance.

I used to do that on a regular basis growing up from a second floor window or porch onto my brother to get even. Just before a date or other important event when he was all dressed up was the best time.
