Sometimes even I am left speechless. (I know, it’s hard to imagine.)

Even I don’t quite know what to say about Connie Chung’s very campy, very odd rendition of "Thanks for the Memories."

I can’t make fun of her singing. Lordy, I know no one would hire me for my ability to carry a tune.

Check it out. It’s just a little over two and a half minutes of the most surreal TV I’ve seen in a looong time. Make sure you’re patient enough to allow the audio to synch up with the video.

Then just sit back and drink in the camp.

Wow, campy is one word for that experience heh. I too cannot carry a tune, but then I have the sense to stay away from cameras and microphones when I do try. My son used to ask me to stop singing when I'd try to with the car radio while taking him to school.

I especially liked hearing the groan when Connie tried to get off the top of the piano in that gown. Her choreographer should get a spanking for making her do that.
