The early responses from Greater Nashua candidates for seats in the state Legislature are now available for viewing at Voter Guide ‘06.

Once there, voters can select the House or Senate district of their choice and read biographical information and survey question responses from both incumbent lawmakers seeking re-election and their challengers.

Over the course of the next few weeks, it is our sincere hope to post the responses of all 219 legislative candidates in the region — assuming they take us up on our offer to be a part of our voter education project.

Readers also can select from a drop-down menu of area towns to find out who is currently representing them in the state Legislature.

So please check back periodically as we continue to confirm and publish responses from the candidates.

Oh, and do us a favor. If we get closer to the election and you don’t see any information from one of the candidates in your community, please feel free to give him or her a nudge.

After all, we’re not doing this for our benefit; we’re doing it for yours.
