"If I close my eyes and pretend it's a different color, it's really good."

I love her with all my heart, but my mom puts the "nary" in "culinary," as in, "Nary a good pie shall she make."

It's almost a knack. She can follow a recipe to the letter and something will still go wrong. A delicate touch of mint will, in her hands, somehow produce frosting with the taste and consistency of toothpaste.

So, in the grand tradition of such dishes as The Tasty Abomination (a very special Jell-o salad) and Rustic Peasant Bread (which started off as quiche), I give you the Tale of the Great Blueberry Pie Debacle.

Reality TV just got a little more painful

Teresa | 30 July, 2007 09:25 | (216)

Corey Feldman and Corey Haim, please do not misunderstand my actions. I switched off the TV five minutes into the premier episode of your new reality TV show "The Two Coreys" not because I don't love you but because I love you too much to see you this way.

I could get addicted to this

Teresa | 26 July, 2007 10:03 | (242)

"Dropkick The Punks" by The Faint is currently one of my favorite songs to blast in the car. Some clever Internet person has made it so that the punks can get their revenge by dropkicking The Faint  - right off the stage, over the audience, and through the plate glass window.

I love this band and yet I love this game. Quite possibly because they bounce when they hit the pavement.

In the event that you have a job like mine and are able to try this at work without too many weird looks, put on your headphones - "Dropkick The Punks" is the first song that plays (followed by two more tracks from The Faint) and it's LOUD.

Hit the spacebar once to run, then once to dropkick. Do not dropkick until you've run out of the parking lot and on to the stage and you can see the band member right in front of you. Otherwise, you will dropkick too early and be overwhelmed with shame at the ineffectivity of your punkness.

Don't forget to listen for The Punk's snarky punk comments before he whips off his jacket and starts running. "Oi, oi, oi!"

The Harry Potter mania has got me all nostalgic about my own childhood book obsessions.

OK, I heard about this group back at book 3, I think, and I didn't take it seriously then. But, my brother knew a good thing when he heard it.

TLC - This Line-up's COOL!

OK so...I love TV. Some co-workers don't feel the same and I call them...crazy. TV, when used in a heathly and moderate fashion, is the ultimate experience.
