Seriously, Bret?

With the departure of Jessica, "the sweet one," from "Rock of Love 2" I now officially have no understanding of how the rock star defines "love."

Ambre is my last hope that perhaps there is something genuine behind the fading rock star’s quest for love, but, as next week’s teaser reveals, she’s been lying about her age.

What I don’t get is why? At 37, she’s way more age-appropriate for the 40-something rocker. And she does exude more intelligence than some of the other candidates to "touch his backstage pass" over two seasons.

Beyond boobies and sex appeal, I am not sure why Daisy and Destiney have progressed so far. They seem to have the fun side of the rock ‘n’ roll life down, but if Bret really is looking for someone to connect with on a deeper level, I don’t personally see them doing it.

But then, you never know what’s been chopped off and left on the cutting-room floor.

That all being said, I felt really badly for Daisy last night, as everyone - including last season’s Heather - ganged up on her. Yeah, I do think it’s weird to live with your ex-boyfriend. I certainly couldn’t do it. But if they really have remained friends, who’s to say what’s weird? Why is it weirder than a drastic lie about your age? (Why, Ambre? Why? There have been contestants older than you!)

Destiney’s a firecracker, but if you can’t play golf, I am not sure lolling around on the green is a good substitute. That’s what annoyed me about last night’s events. Maybe Jessica isn’t right for him, but she did play golf. If the date was supposed to be about dancing suggestively, Bret should have taken them to a burlesque club. Jeezum crow!

And what was up with that goodbye kiss to Heather? Last season, they had a connection. Even winner Jess thought so. So why doesn’t he just dispense with the antics and make Heather his rock of love?

I don’t get it.
