Who can’t wait for Wednesday night?  Me!  Me! 

So, I realized last week that my predictions for Project Runway’s three finalists were right on. 

Tomorrow night, Christian, Jillian and Rami will duke it out for (can we recite this together, with slight German accents?) "a fashion spread in Elle magazine, a 2008 Saturn Astra, an editorial feature in Elle Magazine, and $100,000 to start their own line, furnished by TRESemme, professional haircare."

Now, just a few thoughts about last week’s Rami/Chris showdown and the sneak peek of everyone’s collections: 

• The human hair factor.  Yikes.  Well, I give Chris credit for being true to his vision and not shying away from risk.  And, to be honest, I liked his mini-collection better than Rami’s, especially the cocktail dress.  Hot.  But, let’s get real, am I going to be wearing that to, say, a wedding-rehearsal dinner?  Not unless Marilyn Manson has me on his invite list.
• Grecian draping takes a backseat. Kudos to Rami for shelving the “I’m-a-master-Grecian-draper” thing and working on some more-constructed stuff.  I liked the heavy blue coat and the wrap dress (okay, so he didn’t TOTALLY eliminate the draping) but I was not a fan of the long black dress.  It kind of reminds me of crepe paper.
• Feather pants for everyone? First, loved Christian’s modified ‘do.  The cropped bangs are “fierce.”  However, I’m a little sketched out by the finale pants he showed Tim, which appear to be made of feathers.  Good news: this is totally Christian, something I’ve never seen before, and may just put him over the top.  Bad news: I cannot wear these to work.
• The silver medal goes to…Ohh, Jillian.  In a season without Christian, I see you driving off in a cute little car with a trunk full of cash.  After "Runway," I think Jillian should be a coat-maker.  She just does awesome work.  And I like that she continued one of the last challenge themes by using art for inspiration.  I also dig the little knitted beret-like thing she was wearing.

Alright, all.  Check back Thursday for a de-briefing…and for a sob-fest.  What am I going to watch until season five rolls around?! 

Oh…right.  American Idol, Rock of Love, etc., etc.
