Teresa's TalesNick | 29 June, 2006 21:22 | (448)
For those of you who haven't yet had the pleasure, please take a moment to check out our latest blog, "Mom, I'm OK." The new blog is being written by Teresa Santoski, the newsroom's editorial assistant, who boarded a flight early this morning for China. Teresa is a member of the New Hampshire Friendship Chorus, which is about to kick off a three-week choral tour of Beijing, Xian and other cities. The chorus, founded in 1987, has performed all over the world, including China (1988), New Zealand and Australia (1990), Russia, Estonia and Latvia (1992), Greece and Turkey (1994), Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia (1996), South Africa (1998), the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Austria (2000), South Korea and Vietnam (2002) and Brazil (2004). And in case anyone is wondering how excited Teresa is about doing this blog, consider that she already had filed four entries before leaving the country, including my personal favorite, "Advice from the Big Guy." Heck, she had filed three entries before even leaving the newsroom. So please take a few minutes today to familiarize yourself with "Mom, I'm OK," then check back periodically over the next three weeks to join us as we follow the adventures of Teresa. Oh, and if you happen to think of it, please remind her to call her mother.
