Good Hannaford deals and Stop & Shop flu shots

Some good grocery and meat deals at Hannaford and a chance to get a discounted seasonal flu shot at Stop & Shop pharmacies caught our eye among the weekend and Sunday circulars in The Telegraph.

From Sunday-Saturday (Sept. 20-26), Hannaford markets in Nashua, Hudson and Londonderry have select 6-ounce Breyer’s yogurts for 40 cents, 22-ounce loaves of store brand Giant Bread are $1.09, 14.75- to 15-ounce cans of Chef Boyardee pasta for 83 cents, store brand 4-roll packages of bath tissue for $2.50, store brand white or yellow American cheese for $1.99 a pound, store brand boneless pork sirloin steaks for $1.19 a pound and store brand whole young chickens for 69 cents a pound.

From today-Thursday (Sept. 18-24), Stop & Shop in Milford has boxes of General Mills cereal, including 12-ounce Kix and 12.8-ounce Cinnamon Toast Crunch, for $1.50 (limit 4), 12 double rolls or 9 Mega Rolls of Angel Soft bath tissue or 8-packs or 6 Big Rolls of Sparkle paper towels for $3.99 (limit 2 each) and 12- to 16-ounce boxes of Prince pasta for 75 cents. Shoppers with a Stop & Shop card can get $10 off the regular $30 price of a seasonal flu shot at store pharmacies. From today-Thursday (Sept. 18-24), all area Shaw’s have 85 percent lean ground beef for $1.88 a pound in any size package, Tropicana orange or grapefruit juice in 64- or 59-ounce containers for $2.22 (limit 2) and California red or black seedless grapes for 88 cents a pound. From Sunday-Saturday (Sept. 20-26), Market Basket has Uno 11-ounce Margherita or 14-ounce chicken flatbread pizzas for $3.33, imported asparagus for $1.99 a pound, Thomas English muffin 6-packs for 99 cents, Heinz tomato squeeze ketchup in 40-ounce bottle for $2, Weight Watchers Smart Ones for $2 each, plus get a sixth free when you buy five with in-store coupon, 1-pound containers of Hood cottage cheese for $1.50, Folgers coffee in 27.8- to 33.9-ounce containers for $5.99, Progresso fiber soups in 19-ounce cans for $1.33 and 3-pound bags of McIntosh apples for $1.99.

From Sunday-Saturday (Sept. 20-26), CVS has four 12-packs of Pepsi products for $9 after $3 back in Extra Bucks, 4.2-ounce tubes of Crest Pro-Health toothpaste or 250ml bottles of Crest Pro-Health rinse for 99 cents after $2 back in Extra Bucks, 8-packs of Earth Essentials paper towels for $4.77 (limit 3) and 12-packs of Charmin ultra strong or 9-packs of Charmin ultra soft for $5.49 (limit 3).

From Sunday-Saturday (Sept. 20-26), Walgreens has 12-packs of Angel Soft double rolls (limit 2) with flier coupon and Skippy peanut butter in 16.3-ounce jar or Welch’s grape jelly in 32-ounce jar for $1.59 (limit 3).
