The cover has a special coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase through Thursday. There’s boneless chicken breast in 3-pound or larger packages for $1.69 a pound, 80 percent lean ground beef for $1.99 a pound, bananas for 39 cents a pound, Tropicana orange or grapefruit juice in 64-ounce containers and OJ six-packs for $2.50 and 1-pound bags for assorted Birds Eye vegetables for $1. And there are the specials in the standard Shaw’s flier, which include 8- to 12-ounce bags of New England Coffee for $2.50 and another $5 off coupon when you buy 10 items from among Smuckers, Jif and Pillsbury products Use manufacturer’s coupons and Print a Coupon at Shaws.com, too.

Market Basket’s circular advertises the usual two-week sale that the supermarket runs just before Thanksgiving. Top deals are frozen Jennie-O turkeys for 59 cents a pound, Carando roast beef for $4.99 a pound, 8-ounce packages of Philadelphia cream cheese for $1.25, half-gallons of Hood egg nog for $2.99, 34.5-ounce containers of Maxwell House coffee for $5.99, 9- to 12-ounce bags of New England Coffee for $2.50, Bigelow special teas in 16- to 20-count boxes for $2.50, large pears for 99 cents a pound, and bunches of celery for $1.29. Use manufacturer’s coupons, too.

CVS’ flier has some good deals, including L’Oreal Age Perfect Pro-Calcium Radiance Perfector sheer tint moisturizer in1.7-ounce container, free after $15.99 in ExtraBucks, and Right Guard, Dry Idea or Soft&Dri deodorant for 99 cents after $2 in ExtraBucks. Also, various Gold Emblem nuts at buy one, get one free through Monday.

Walgreens has some deals, too. A flier coupon has 16.3-ounce Skippy peanut butter priced at $1.50, limit four. There’s also a flier coupon for 6-ounce cans of Bumble Bee chunk white albacore tuna for 79 cents, limit three. Boxes of Lipton tea bags in various sizes are $1.99 with the wrap-around flier coupon, limit three. Also, Oral-B Vitality electric toothbrushes are $14.99 after $5 mail-in rebate.
