No easy decisions in the newsroom

A reader in Hudson recently sent me a note (for which I thank her very much) which raised a number of interesting issues, which I will be responding to either in a column in the Telegraph or in a longer blog post here.

But the reader did mention that she didn't like a story that appeared recently about a birthing center in Milford and one woman's experience there.

The other email address published with my first column will still work, but the address above, readeradvocate@nashuatelegraph.com, is easier to type -- and it will go directly to my personal email account.

I will continue to check the hotmail account, but the Telegraph editors thought, and I agree, that this address is simpler to type and remember.

When I walked out of the newsroom on a chilly November day in 1988, I never expected to do anything with a newspaper again except read it. But life takes unexpected turns.
