At the big league baseball games, you may hear the words “popcorn, peanuts, Cracker Jacks,” or “beer here.” But, what do you bring on the road to AAU games when there are no vendors around?

For many years my one child has always loved PB&J, minus the crusts, while the other won’t get near the classic. It’s always been a tactile thing and mixing foods together just doesn’t work for this kids taste buds.

I’m looking forward to Sunday’s AAU baseball games in Portland, Maine. The parents are already talking about it. Do we need to put in reservations? My mouth is already watering. Not for the baseball double-header, rather the dinner afterwards at Warren’s Lobster House in Kittery on the way home!
