I wasn’t there when team manager, A.J. Jackson injured his ankle walking up a set of stairs in flip flops. But, I can say it wasn’t his fault for not moving fast enough when my son, Brandon ripped a foul ball down the third base line, hitting A.J.’s ankle in the same spot. Double-Ouch!

Soccer mom tallies hours and miles driving and waiting for her kids

A couple weeks ago my son says very matter of factly ‘mom, you’ve been at the fields a lot this week’. Like a drone I replied, ‘uh-huh’. He leans over to look at the odometer and asks how many miles were on the van. ‘Wow, I wonder how many we’ll put on before the end of season’, he says. I hate to think about it…
