My son would be thrilled to drill a baseball out of the park for a home run, but should a pro athlete like Boston Red Sox’ David Ortiz keep his job by only hitting one? If so, I’ll take that job!

Last night’s blast by Ortiz was fun to watch, but it seemed like Red Sox fans were getting a little ‘over-celebrational.’ After all, the guy is paid big bucks to rip homers. I thought it was more exciting when his comrads ripped the next three pitches out of the park.

Should Terry Francona keep David Ortiz around? Or, is it time for the Big Papi to move on?
