Has David Ortiz become a big paperweight in the Red Sox lineup?

No home runs. A batting average just over 200. What’s wrong with him? Is David Ortiz too old or out-of-shape to play baseball anymore? Is it time for Terry Francona to find a new designated hitter for the lineup?
As a big fan of the Red Sox, and Ortiz, I join the rest of Red Sox Nation with my fingers crossed that he will start hitting again. But, what if he doesn’t? How long do you wait for him to come through? That third spot in the batting order is so important for moving the base runners around.
What would you do if you managed the Boston Red Sox?
