Is eight gold medals enough at the Olympic Games?
Filed under General by bob hammerstrom at 1:20 pm
I wonder how many kids will be heading to the city pools this week after watching Michael Phelps capture his eighth gold medal in the Olympic games?
It’s a dream for most athletes just to be good enough to make it to the Olympics. But I’m wondering if it would have been disappointing if the last swimmer in the relay didn’t come back from behind, surge ahead, and win his heat to give Michael Phelps his eighth gold medal, and most-likely a Wheaties cereal box with his picture on it?
What are your thoughts?
