Congratulations Auburn Braves baseball team - 2008 Class S Champions

Congratulations to the Auburn Village School baseball team on their championship game victory over Wilton. The Braves defeated the Warriors 6-0 Thursday, May 29, to finish a perfect season with a record of 12-0 in the Tri-County League for Class S junior high schools.
What a show the Braves put on last night during the Class S championship game in Auburn. I’ve never seen an Auburn school team so mature and dedicated as this group of young men. The leadership of the eighth-graders certainly shows.
Coached by Dan Jacobs, the physical education teacher at Chester Academy, these guys shut-out Wilton in a 7-inning game. They should be very proud of their accomplishments.
