Free NIN!

Emily | 06 May, 2008 00:28 | (34)

Those who are big Nine Inch Nails fans probably already know this by now, but the band quietly released “The Slip” Monday morning at 12:01 for free off their Web site, NIN.com.

All you have to do is enter your e-mail address, and there are different formats you can choose to download after you are sent the code number. It’s recommended that MP3’s are the best, since the other formats are for more advanced listeners. But it sounds like you could experiment anyway, since you can send the download to three of your friends. The download is available for an hour after you submit the code number. A pdf with lyrics and artwork is also provided, a very nice bonus.

NIN encourages you to

“remix it

share it with your friends,

post it on your blog,

play it on your podcast,

give it to strangers,

etc.”

Have fun!

Missed the window, unfortunately!

Free NIN! [Reply]

Hi Daniel,
I was just on the NIN website and it looks like it's still being offered for free. I was able to send it to my email a second time, so they don't even care how many times one person downloads it. Maybe try again, or if you want to send me your email, I can forward it to you. The album is pretty good, so it's worth it!
