Ford Mustang is Merrimack man’s baby

I drive my 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt everyday, but I can’t remember the last time I washed it. Nathan Parkhurst probably can’t remember the last day he didn’t wash his customized Mustang. There’s more wax on his fenders than there is in all of my wife’s Yankee Candles!

A little girl’s smile brings tears, and a perfect day for this photographer

A smile is worth a thousand words, and maybe more in her case! How else could I tell the story about eight-year-old (8 - 1/2 as she says) Rachel Caliguiri fighting Cerebral Palsy without writing a word. With a soft voice and shy demeanor, she whispered to me that she gets to go to Disney World when she can walk by herself.

Breaking the speed limit?

I had the longest commute of my life this morning - 24 miles in an hour and 40 minutes. As I was driving (I mean sitting in traffic) on the F.E. Everett Turnpike this morning, I noticed this portable alert billboard on the side of the road. Wishful thinking!

What photographers look for on election day

I’ve been shooting elections since the mid-80’s. Some of those were is tiny old country schoolhouses in rural Minnesota, surrounded by open fields. I don’t remember long lines of voters, just pickups and tractors lined up along gravel roads.
