I met Melvin today at the Merrimack Veterinary Hospital while making pics to localize a story about the Environmental Protection Agency’s concern about flea and tick control products.  Melvin belongs to Matt Dunne, a veterinary assistant at the hospital.  I was told he had a hard life down South before coming up here to live in New Hampshire via the Humane Society for Greater Nashua.  He’s a little camera shy but I was able to lure him a bit closer with some dog treats.
