Busy and fun weekend with the kids.  Geoff marched in Bedford’s Memorial Day parade.  Austin explored some big rigs at a touch-a-truck fundraiser.   Here he meets Cyrus and his partner, patrolman Chris Weeks of Goffstown’s Police Department.

Just how close do you wanna get to a police dog?

Yes, he could have used a breath mint, as “Bolo” a Pelham police dog in training, walked up to me to check out the camera while I photographed him getting groomed today, May 13, 2009, during a training session in searches. Although, Bolo wasn’t as affectionate as my golden retriever, “Penny,” who licks visitors like a Popsicle, he was curious of the camera.

You have to love a place that lets you bring your dog to work.  I did it here a couple of times many years ago but nobody knew…  I met Finnegan while visiting Nemo, a local outdoors goods developer.  Stay tuned for more on them.  For now here’s a Good Dog looking for a little snack.
