Last Chance to Register for NEMBA’s Trail Building & Advocacy School
The deadline to mail in your registration is over, however, we are extending the “phone-in” deadline until tomorrow, May 5th. Call 800-576-3622 to register.
This weekend trail building and advocacy weekend will offer instruction on designing and caring for multi-use trails and topics taught by experts from the New England Mountain Bike Association. It will focus on analyzing trails, determining trail problems and executing solutions. It will also focus on larger issue of trail system design and managing multi-use trails. The weekend will also include round-table discussions on mountain bike advocacy and ways to responsibly promote the sport.
The school will begin promptly at 8:30am, Saturday, May 16th and continue until Sunday at 4pm. Primitive camping is available free of charge beginning Friday after 4pm, and there will be bike rides offered both Saturday and Sunday afternoon, depending upon weather conditions. Costs of the school is $85.
