Trees on trails: ice storm clean up continues
Filed under Cycling, trails by andrew wolfe at 4:34 pm
There are still an awful lot of extra obstacles on an awful lot of trails as a result of last winter’s ice storm, and various groups will be getting together to do something about it.
This coming Sunday morning, a group from the Wilton Lyndeborough Winter Wanders snowmobile club will be working on the rail trail through Wilton and Mason… they meet at 8:30 a.m. along Sand Pit Road in Mason, and would welcome extra hands, especially if they come bearing loppers, saws and other such useful tools.
The Southern NH NEMBA crew will be working on Bear Brook trails the same day, and also on May 23… and then there’s the Bear Brook Blast race the following weekend.
