Global weirding will be bad, but i suppose it could be worse:

“NRWA Presentation on Geologic Features of Glacial Lake Nashua”

Did you know the Nashua River used to flow south?  Why did it change its flow direction after the last ice age?  The Nashua River Watershed Association (NRWA) invites the public to explore these and other concepts at a free presentation on “Geologic Features of Glacial Lake Nashua” on Monday, March 30, at 7:00 PM, at the Boylston Historical Society, Old Town Hall, 7 Central Street, in Boylston.  Our presenter, geologist Garry Hollands, will tell the story of how glaciers transformed the landscape in central Massachusetts.

This presentation is part of a series of free programs, open to the public, which the Nashua River Watershed Association is offering in celebration of its 40th Anniversary.  Over the course of the year, NRWA will be presenting a free program in each of our 32 communities; visit www.NashuaRiverWatershed.org for additional information.

Registration is required for this free public program.  To register, or for more information, please contact Martha Morgan, NRWA Water Programs Director, at (978) 448-0299, or email MarthaM@NashuaRiverWatershed.org.  The NRWA is a non-profit environmental organization that depends on memberships for support.
