Andrew and Ben wander the Wapack

It was a superlatively beautiful day to go out for a hike, and we did, up and over Pack Monadnock and Middle Pack, but not quite to North Pack, as I’m still in recovery mode and trying not to push too hard too fast. Ben had a fine time scrambling up the cliffs along the Wapack, and insisted we take the other trail (blue blazed, forget the name) down on account of another dog. (I had planned to be lazy and take the auto road. That route makes Pack Monadnock one of the easiest and best peaks if you want to introduce a child to winter hiking) Ben especially enjoyed all the attention he got at the summit, and declined to follow me up the firetower.
