The Amazing Couch Potato Weight Loss Plan

I lost six pounds this month!

I am so bummed.

I expect no sympathy, but it’s true… on both counts.

Despite the stunning results, I’d hestitate to recommend my weight-loss program. A painful back problem dragged me, wincing and whimpering, into a month with no exercise what so bleeping ever. If I wasn’t sitting, I was on my back, on the floor. 

I’m about over that whole lethargy as lifestyle – how do people do that? – and have been gingerly working my way back with PT exercises and short stints on a stationary bicycle. Meanwhile, the scale at my gym (I don’t have one at home) showed that despite packing more pudge, I’d actually lost weight… muscle, no doubt, every ounce of it. It just goes to show that when it comes to body weight, quality counts more than quantity.
