Slalom clinic in Antrim
Filed under skateboarding by andrew wolfe at 2:44 pm
Gravity is free, and so is the slalom skateboard clinic being hosted by the Antrim Parks and Recreation Department on July 26.
The good folks of Antrim are hosting the clinic on Summer Street, that mecca of macadam that will be the site of the upcoming Can/Am Slalom Championship races (formerly “The Race for the Old Gold Jug,” as previously reported here).
This sounds like a great chance to practice and learn the sport in a safe and stoke-full environment. I only wish Ev and I could make it; we’re going to be heading out of town.
Information on the clinic is online here, and the registration form is here. Note that registration is required, and helmets mandatory.
You can learn more about slalom skateboarding in general on the International Skateboard Slalom Association forums, and also at the more or less local (Greater Boston area) Slalomspot site.
