In case anyone missed it, my colleague Karen Lovett wrote up a nice article on the area’s newest official conservation and recreation area, Merrimack’s Horse Hill Nature Preserve.
The area’s trails have long been used (and occasionally misused), but now there’s even a parking area, making it easier for folks from out of town to check it out. I plan to visit with my bicycle soon.
