Can you canoe?

I started my work day this morning by taking my canoe out for a quick spin on Salmon Brook.
We needed to get some photos to go with the stuff I wrote up on canoeing local rivers, so we can run it in the paper. Do I have a fun job or what? Bob Hammerstrom got some great shots:
