My boy and I got up to Pittsfield this weekend to check out Rocking Horse Studio, where Steve is recording his new CD (look for it this summer). Steve humored me with a simple bass drum part (four beats, four measures), which he could have done himself, and enlisted us and owner/engineer Brian Coombs for some backing vocals. It was a blast! The studio looks and sounds fabulous. At risk of going way overboard with SNL references… I am not worthy.
